Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. milk
Sugar
1 bag Hershey's kisses

Directions
1. Cream butter and peanut butter, gradually add sugar and cream well.  Add egg, milk, and vanilla and mix well.  Blend in flour, soda, and salt.
2. Refrigerate several hours.
3. Shape dough into balls.  Roll balls in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 350-degrees for 5 minutes.
5. Remove and place a chocolate kiss, pressing down so that cookie cracks.
6. Bake for an additional 2-5 minutes.

Notes
These cookies are best within an hour of baking because the kiss is still melted.  But you can also put them in the microwave for a few seconds, if that magical window has passed.  I've frozen these before and had them still be just as delicious a week later.
