Homemade Reese's
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Line a 9x9 square pan with aluminum foil.
2. Mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar until combined. Add 3/4 cup peanut butter. Spread into prepared pan.
3. Microwave 2 tablespoons peanut butter with semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted. Stir until smooth. Spread over peanut butter mixture in the pan.
4. Chill until completely firm (about 3 hours).
Notes
We are a little bit addicted to this treat right now. We make it for D&D night frequently but it gets gobbled up too quickly. So then, I will often make another pan just for me and the kids to nibble on the next day. Which is not really a good idea. Or it really is a great idea, depending on how you look at it.
