Not-from-a-box Shells and White Cheddar

Ingredients
1 lb medium pasta shells
1 chicken breast, cubed
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
2 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
1-1/2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions
1. In a large pot, prepare pasta according to package directions.
2. In a saucepan, saute cubed chicken breast in 1/4 cup dressing until cooked through.
3. In yet another pot (smaller), melt margarine.  Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Stir in milk all at once.  Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.  Cook and stir one minute more.  Add shredded cheese and cook into sauce until melted.
4. Combine all the pots into one big pot and enjoy!

Notes
Up the cheese, if desired.  Since we are re-instating this meal for monetary reasons, I'm going to be experimenting with less.
