Poppy Seed Chicken
Ingredients
6-8 chicken breasts
1 cup melted butter
2 cans cream of chicken
8 oz. sour cream
2 rolls Ritz crackers
1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
Directions
1. Bake chicken breasts for 30 minutes. (They will be not-quite done.)
2. Combine 1/2 melted butter, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Pour mixture over chicken.
3. Crush 2 rolls of Ritz crackers in a gallon zip lock bag. Then add 1/2 melted butter and 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds and mix until moistened.
4. Sprinkle cracker mixture on top of chicken and bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes.
Notes
I haven't made this yet but the recipes comes highly recommended from a good friend. Holy smokes, though! There is a TON of cream in it! It looks delicious but maybe more like a desert than a dinner.
